Corporate tax filing season is here! The corporate tax deadline for the year of assessment 2022 (YA2022) is on the 30th of November 2022.

YA 2022 is for all financial periods which ended in 2021.

For example,
if the financial period is from 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021, the financial period ended in 2021 and the company will need to file corporate tax for that financial period in YA 2022.

if the financial period is from 1st January 2021 to 30th December 2021, the financial period ended in 2021 and the company will need to file corporate tax for that financial period in YA 2022.

if the financial period is from 1st April 2021 to 31st March 2022, the financial period ended in 2022 and the company will NOT need to file corporate tax for that financial period in YA 2022. The corporate tax filing for that financial period will be in YA2023.

Please note our charges for corporate tax filing for YA2022. They are listed on our website www.singaporesecretaryservices.com for Form C-S(Lite), Form C-S and Form C.

Please do not confuse Personal Income Tax filing with Corporate Tax Filing. The Personal Income Tax Filing deadlines are in April while the Corporate Tax Filing deadlines are in November. Personal Income Taxes are fileable for personal income taxes, sole proprietors and partnerships. Corporate tax filing is for companies. If you are hired as a director and are drawing a salary from the company, your salary is personal income and is separate from your company’s income. Reporting of personal income is in April whereas reporting of company income is in November.

To compute a company’s corporate taxes, you may use the Basic Tax Calculator (BTC) provided by IRAS. The BTC can be downloaded here:
