Before incorporating a Singapore company, you will need to fill in the incorporation documents and provide our firm with the relevant identification documents. The company registration documents can be found here: https://singaporesecretaryservices.com/company-registration-documents/

Once all the documents and payments are made, our firm can incorporate the company immediately if the proposed company is a private company. There are instances whereby incorporation may not be immediate. Some of the reasons for the possible delay would be:

  • Approval or an appeal is required for the proposed name
  • Approval or an appeal is required for the proposed business activity
  • Random checks by ACRA on details before a company is incorporated

When the case is referred to the relevant authority, it will take between 2 weeks to 2 months for the authorities to get back to the filer.
If the company to be incorporated is a public company, for example, a Public Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG), approval is required for the proposed name as well as the incorporation of the company. The approval will also take 2 weeks to 2 months for each submission.
